here today, gone september

for this month, i was out of town for a week and a half on my awesome vacation so i didn't follow a list or a theme so i just posted a picture for every day.  enjoy :)

       

  

 

 

  

first camping trip

i seriously can't believe that it has been this long without taking jorel camping...  mike and i decided to take our kids one night and couldn't get out of town fast enough.  we went to enterprise to the honeycomb campground and the kids did pretty well.  it got a little cold, but not too cold.  the morning was perfect around the fire.  so glad i finally got to go that wasn't for work!  we plan to do this a bit more often...

two in one

i had some girls ask me to take their senior pics, so i took two of them out one day - we chased the sun a little, but it cooperated.  mostly.  i kind of found a spot by accident that both of the girls really liked.  aren't they beauties?

zion national park

we just wanted something to do one sunday so we decided to drive up to zion.  it really is so pretty up there.  we drove through and jorel decided he wanted to go on a hike, but he didn't have any shoes, so we stopped on one of the turnouts and ended up spotting a big horn sheep.  it was cool.  that's the first time i saw one there.  he owned the mountain

 btw, this is mike.  we hang out a lot.  you may be seeing a lot of him in the future... just fyi :)

sc homecoming

my nephew was having his homecoming (the same one i took pictures for the senior ball last year) and so they asked me to take pictures again.  he sure is a great kid.  and a handsome dude.  my niece also stepped in as someone's photo partner since his date was going to be late.  they were a fun spunky group!  also jorel was there and was mad i didn't let him in on the group photos, so i had to throw one in there....
