mommies of southern utah:

Since I'm in desperate need of some social interaction once in a while (as well as my son) - and have come to realize that I am not the only mom out there that feels this way - I am going to put this out there if any one is interested. Heck, you don't even have to be a mom! If anyone is interested in doing some sort of "social group" like even just once a month to keep us sane (I don't even get out of the house much!) then please {oh please} contact me so we can work something out - kanugent10[at]gmail[dot]com or 435-669-0164 (please leave a message if I don't answer) or leave a comment. This wouldn't require any type of money - I'm the first to know that times are tough - but would involve some fun for us moms and our children. My son is about 16 month old but any age could be entertained for at least a couple of hours while us moms - I'm 24 :) - can talk in normal voices about normal things. So anyway, please let me know if you want to be in on it - and spread the word to others that may be interested also! Thanks so much!

dance machine

Since he could [walk], he could {dance}...
he especially loves the Spongebob Squarepants theme song - he drops EVERYTHING he's doing just to dance to it (at the end)!

{another} birthday girl

So today is my best friend Lindsey's birthday. She turns 25! We met in college in 2004 and have been super great friends ever since. We were lucky enough to be roommates, along with our other best friend, Kristin, in a place where none of us knew really anybody. We were all softball players and really instantly became the best of friends and ended up rooming together for the following 3 years. Its sad that we live SO far away (Lindsey in Tenessee and Kristin in Ohio) because I miss them {terribly}! They are both recently engaged and getting married soon, and I couldn't be happier for the both of them. But this post is about Lindsey - She has been the best friend a girl can have in our time together. We have so many great memories together, some bad, but mostly all good! She's a beautiful girl and turned heads whenever we went out and we always knew how to have the best time, even if we were the only 2 out on the dance floor! Not to mention, she has Ginger's sister... We've been there through thick and thin and I really couldn't ask for a better friend! On her 21st birthday Kristin made sure that she knew to be happy to have even made it to 21, so Lindsey, you've exceeded your own expectations! From the beginning to the end, you will always be my friend...
HAPPY BIRTHDAY LINDSEY LOU!
